FAQs

  • Yes, we do charge a $50 fee for estimates. This small charge helps cover the time, travel, and resources involved in accurately assessing your project on-site, including evaluating site conditions, taking measurements, and discussing design options or logistical considerations. However, this fee is fully credited toward your total project cost if you decide to move forward with us. So, while it’s a minimal upfront investment, it ultimately goes right back into your project should you choose our team for the work.

  • The cost of a concrete project is determined by several key factors, starting with the size and scope of the job—typically calculated by square footage of concrete required. We also consider site conditions (such as slope and accessibility), the type of finish or decorative options (e.g., stamped, colored, broom finish), and the thickness and reinforcement needed to meet code or support loads. Any necessary permits or inspections are also factored into the estimate to ensure transparency and accuracy.

  • While we do our best to provide accurate estimates upfront, there are some situations where the price may change after the project has begun. Common factors include unforeseen site conditions (like hidden debris or drainage issues), or changes requested by the client after work has started. In some cases, price adjustments may also occur due to sudden increases in material costs or permit requirements imposed by local authorities. We communicate all potential changes clearly and obtain your approval before proceeding with any extra work.

  • The installation time depends on the size and complexity of the job, but generally, a standard residential driveway or patio can be completed in 2 to 4 days, while a foundation may take 3 to 7 days depending on excavation, formwork, weather conditions, and curing time. This timeline includes preparation, pouring, finishing, and initial curing. Decorative finishes or larger-scale projects may take longer. After pouring, we typically recommend waiting at least 5 to 7 days before placing heavy loads on the surface to allow proper curing, though full strength is reached after about 28 days.

  • Once you approve the quote and sign the contract, we can usually begin within 1 to 3 weeks, depending on our current schedule, the size of your project, and any permitting requirements. For smaller residential projects, we aim to fit you in as soon as possible, and we always communicate a firm start date upfront. Keep in mind that delays due to weather or material availability can occasionally affect our timeline, but we always keep you informed and work hard to stay on schedule.
